Galatians 5:1

"Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free,

and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage"

Stay Free!

Stay in the freedom that God gave you when He saved you from your sin.

The things of this world will get you tangled up like an insect in a spider's web.

You are not a slave to sin anymore and God's Word and a made up mind will keep you free!

Don't let the enemy tell you that you are not good enough for salvation when you make a mistake,

but come boldly to the throne of grace and get the mercy that God has for you and keep going!

Lord Jesus, I commit my life to You today and I ask You to lead me through all of my decisions today and every day.

Thank You for setting me free from my past and for making me a new creature.

I resist any temptation that the devil may throw at me.

Galatians 6:7

"Be not deceived; God is not mocked:

for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap."

Planting and Harvesting!

The Lord is very clear concerning what you plant and what you harvest.

Sin is very deceiving and can make you think that there will be no consequences for indulging in it.

God wants us to plant seeds of love and kindness to give us a harvest of blessings and joy.

To put it plainly, if you are tired of harvesting what you are harvesting, change what you've been planting.

Remember seeds have to be watered and take time to grow, so be patient while waiting for your harvest.

Do good and obey God because you love Him and because He saved you from your sin.

The harvest of blessing and abundance will come! So don't get tired of doing good!

reminding me that everything I say and do have a consequence.

This is a simple verse of the Bible that packs a whole lot of punch.

Prayer changes everything and our life should be one continuous conversation with the Lord.

We can tell Jesus all about our troubles because He can handle them and guide our every move!

Make a commitment to praying more and including God in the details of your life.

"In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you."

I Won't Complain!

The opposite of giving thanks is complaining.

Being thankful is a major step towards pleasing our God.

Negativity and complaining compound and cause misery and hopelessness.

Take time today and everyday to give thanks for what you do have and don't be sad over what you don't have.

God is good all of the time and He is using all of your circumstances to bring you to a great outcome!

Stay Small In Your Own Eyes!

Pride eventually leads to shame but humility will lead you to honor.

Jesus was a perfect example of humility even though He was the only Son of God.

His example is to be the outline for how we live our lives so that others will be drawn to Him.

Take time to get before Jesus every day and humble yourself before Him and don't worry too much

about what others thing of you.

As You humble yourself, God will promote you and no one can take that away!

I desire to be an example of Your love and power every day.

Please lead and guide me by Your Precious Holy Spirit.

Ephesians 4:26-27

When Anger Comes

Being angry is not a license to do wrong.

When anger comes, remember it will also leave.

It will seem like you can't pray when you are angry but it's a great time to pray.

When you are angry, it is best to say little or nothing and is a great time to acknowledge God.

Don't allow the devil any space in your life and continue in God's Word to keep your thoughts and ways clean.

I want my ways to please You, even in times of trouble or anger.

Mark 16:17-18

"And these signs shall follow them that believe;

In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing,

it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. "

Signs of the Believer

There is clear evidence that follows someone who believes in and obeys Jesus.

Even a young believer can cast out a devil or pray for the sick and get results!

Believers in Jesus don't talk the same as unbelievers but they speak life and light.

Love, joy and peace follow a believer instead of constant confusion, fear and anxiety.

When you pray as a believer it is so important to use the name of Jesus.

As Jesus said in the passage above: "in my name" they will do these things.

I believe that You are the only Son of God who was raised from the dead.

You are Lord and in Your name I break the power of darkness anywhere it may be in my life.

Psalms 37:1-2

"Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity.

Don't Worry About Those Who Live in Sin!

Don't be jealous about what it appears sinners have.

Don't worry about what they say or how they look at you as if they have something you don't.

Live for God with all of your heart, mind and soul and you will have no regrets.

The life of an evil doer will end in destruction and your end will be eternal life.

It is my desire to live a clean and holy life in front of everyone, especially You!

"Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."

Submit Yourself to God and the devil Must submit to you!

Let there be no confusion here.

God commands and expects His children to absolutely obey Him.

The benefits are innumerable!

All we need to do in temptation (which comes from the devil) is resist!

When we resist the devil HAS to run!

Do not tolerate darkness but continually run to the Light.

We can never afford a day off in this area.

Ephesians 5:11-12

"And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.
For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret."

WARNING: Leave Darkness Alone.

We cannot help but to be around those who sin and live in darkness but having friendship with

those who live this way is bad for you, especially since God commands us to come out from among them.

Not only are unclean relationships dangerous to you, but so are conversations about what they do

in the darkness and so is watching and hearing what they do on television and in music.

You have been chosen to be set aside for God's use and your body is not your own.

Make up your mind to live for Jesus while you can and don't turn back.

Please forgive me for giving too much focus to the world and not enough to You.

I love you Lord, and I want You to remain Lord of my life.

Fearing the Lord

You are at the beginning of becoming wise when you fear the Lord Jesus.

Being concerned about your salvation and being concerned over what God thinks is WISE!

Those who live loosely and carelessly are foolish according to the Word of God.

The outcome of the foolish who forget about God is always the same.....destruction.

Riches don't make you wise, in fact money can give you a sense that you don't need God.

Fearing God means you acknowledge Him, listen to Him and obey Him.

A person that fears God doesn't do just everything he/she feels like doing.

A person who fears God continues to serve Him in every mood and every situation.

There is clear cut evidence that indicates a person who fears God.

That evidence is the blessing of God on your life for everyone to see!

Fear the Lord and be blessed!

Keep Your Peace

Where is your mind most of the time?

As a believer, you have the benefit of having peace, even in the middle of life's storms!

This word encourages us to keep our minds on things above and not on our situations.

God is big enough to handle any problem and He will never leave you even when feelings say otherwise.

Trust God with EVERYTHING. He can't fail. He made the universe and He made you!

Is anything too hard for God? Think on the power it took to make everything you see.

Think about how much He loved you so much that He sent His son to die for YOU!

Keeping your mind on Him and His greatness will keep you in perfect peace.

Loving God With All You've Got!

What or who do you think about the most?

Jesus said we must love God with all of our heart, mind and soul.

What do you put most of your effort into?

Jesus said we are to love God with all of our strength.

If we want to please God, we must first know what pleases him obviously.

Know what God loves, expects and requires of you so that you can be obedient and blessed.

Let us begin with the first commandment remembering that it is first for a reason.

As you place God in first position in your life you will see major changes in your own!

What Kind of Fruit Are You Producing?

The fruit of your life that Jesus is describing here represents the outcome of the life you're living.

Do others know you as a person living for God because of the evidence you carry?

Are you known as a prayer warrior and someone who is obedient to God?

Is the evidence you bare contain peace, love, joy, patience and kindness?

When we are obedient to God's Word and allow it the priority in our lives,

there is solid evidence that lets the world know that we belong to God.

Today allow God to make changes that will alter the outcome of your life.

Lift your hands to Jesus and give Him everything and let Him have His way.

Matthew 7:21 -23

"Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven;

but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name?

and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity."

Take Your Salvation Seriously!

Please slow down and read what the Word of God says and digest it into your spirit man daily.

This takes time and has to be a deliberate and intentional effort but it is so very worth it.

The truth is, not everyone will make it to the Kingdom of Heaven and MANY will be cast into outer darkness.

Jesus says here that the person who does God's will is the one who makes it into the Kingdom.

Jesus also states in another scripture (Matthew 10:23) that the person that endures to the end

is the one who will be saved, which means we will go through things, but we must hang on!

Maintain your prayer life and seek the Lord on a daily basis and find out His will and plan for you.

You will never look back and regret doing anything God's way!

"And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men,

especially unto them who are of the household of faith."

Don't Get Tired of Doing Good!

Sometimes it's easy to get tired of being good to others, especially others who do you wrong back.

Today and everyday remember that you still have a harvest coming even when people take advantage of you!

God's Word promises us that whatever we sew (plant) we are going to reap (harvest).

Also remember that we do good to others as unto God, knowing that He is secretly watching

and remember that He is a God that rewards us openly!

Be encouraged today to continue doing good to everyone, especially your family in the Lord.

Be patient while you are waiting on your harvest and be careful not to complain.

Your reward is on the way!

Ecclesiastes 7:9

"Be not hasty in thy spirit to be angry: for anger resteth in the bosom of fools."

When Anger Comes, Be Quick to Let it Go!

It is not a sin to be angry and anger will sometimes come,

but God's Word tells us not to sin when anger does show up.

This scripture tells us that it is foolish to hold on to anger and

encourages us not to let anger be our first reaction.

Anger can blemish our testimony if we are not careful.

Your peers will have a harder time hearing God's Word from you if you are angry a lot.

Today make up your mind to pray through anger and to be slow to speak when it shows up.

God WILL help you and the results will be amazing!

Lord Jesus, I commit my life to You today and I pray for your help in this area of anger.

Please teach me how to reject anger when it comes and how to choose the path of peace.

I rebuke the spirit of anger in my life and will allow the joy of the Lord to rule in my life.
