Be Still!
Be sure to take time out to get to know your God. He is real and He is readily available.
God is speaking, even now and has something to say to you if you will listen.
Don't be so busy and consumed with the affairs of this earthly life that it interferes with your time to know God.

We Can Come To God Boldly!
It is going to take grace to get us where we are going and we need to come boldly to God to get it.
His grace is enough to get us through everything but we have to be sure to receive it.
Grace is supernatural and such a privilege and it's free!
Lord Jesus I come to Your throne boldly and obtain Your mercy and grace.
I give You thanks for giving me supernatural strength through every trial and every temptation.

Stay Small In Your Own Eyes!
We need to be reminded that pride is a spirit killer and keeps you from God's blessing.
When you have a proud spirit, then know that destruction is not far behind.
If you humble yourself then spiritual gravity won't bring you down and God is able to life you up.
Lord Jesus I humble myself in Your sight and I will endeavor to be humble wherever I go.
I rebuke the spirit of pride and vow not to think of myself higher than I ought to.
I also rebuke any spirit that says that I am lower than I am.

Better Than Being Rich!
Make your life about getting wisdom and understand and you will have a most prosperous life.
Wisdom is the proper application of knowledge and will show you what to do with what you have.
Understanding will squash conflict and bring resolution to your problems.
You don't have to be rich to be content!
Lord Jesus I receive the wisdom that You said I could have.
I receive understanding of Your Word and in conversations that I have with others.
I thank You that You are more than enough and praise You for Your perfect ways.

Contrary to popular opinion, Jesus is coming back very soon for a church that is not sleeping!

Patience is the ability to endure hardness and adversity with calmness and without complaining.
Patience is a true sign of spiritual maturity.
Patience is built or lost when you go through trying and uncomfortable times.
Lord Jesus I ask You to help me through the times I will face this week where I would normally be impatient.
I ask You, Holy Spirit to remind me that I belong to You and I can't do everything I feel.
I pray that my life is a living testimony of God's love and goodness.

Patience may not be comfortable, but it is working on your behalf perfecting and maturing you.
While not a lot of fun, patience will leave you mature, complete and content!
Don't delay asking for this precious attribute and don't be surprised when you see the things like
adversity, hardship and afflictions come. These are some of the tools God uses to get patience to you!
Lord Jesus I receive Your will for my life and am asking You to remind me that I am a patient person when I'm not feeling it.
I desire for You to complete and mature me after Your will for my life.
I lift my hands and surrender to Your Holy Spirit. Make me more like YOU!

Though I may be tried, please continue to remind me that I belong to You and I am not my own.

It would be nice if we could stand in a prayer line and just receive patience.
But patience comes by way of tough times and uncomfortable situations.
Remember someone is watching how you live when you are going through your trials.
Always show them what a patient person looks like!
Lord Jesus I want You to know that I am willing to go through whatever I need to go through patiently.

This person will also bear evidence that they are followers of Christ by the unmistakable blessing on their life.

I understand that I am allowed to be angry but never to use anger as an excuse to sin.
Please continue to help me to govern my words as they should be few and not many.

The part of you that is going to live forever (your spirit) lives in your body for now.
Use this time to help your spirit man grow by reading, knowing and doing God's Word.
Avoid activities and conversations that corrupt and dirty your spirit man.
You will then become a living testimony that glorifies God in a body made of flesh.
When your spirit then leaves your body, you will then be allowed to enter into God's glorious Kingdom.
Don't waste time with too many earthly pleasures or treasures as they cannot and will not last.

We, the children of the most High God are to be peacemakers.
The Word of God tells us to follow peace with all men which means peace is something we pursue.
It takes work, patience, tolerance, long suffering and temperance to make and keep peace.
The most powerful way to make peace is to be quiet or say as little as possible.
Everyone doesn't need to know what you're thinking in the heat of the moment!

Persecution (or suffering at the hands of others for your faith) is not a sign that things are wrong.
People hated and persecuted Jesus which means they are going to hate and persecute you.
It is a high honor to suffer for the Kingdom of Heaven and not something to be discouraged about.
Rejoice when you are persecuted because you are most certainly in a place of blessing!
Lord Jesus I thank you for the opportunity to serve You in Your Kingdom
I understand that suffering is part of the package and is nothing to complain about.
I thank You for Your Holy Spirit who is my comforter and guide through all times.
I will not feel sorry for myself.

Loving our enemies, blessing those who curse us, doing good to those who hate us and
praying for those who use and abuse us is to be the way we live as Jesus Himself did.
Read these instructions and meditate on them often, then live them.
